SPECIAL DONATION
Mr. & Mrs. Neil Fernando have donated Rupees One Million (Rs.1,000,000/-) to Shishyadhara Society recently.
Mr. & Mrs. Neil Fernando has requested the Society to give Scholarships to the students nominated by the Society who are following Engineering and Affiliated Courses in the Universities from the interest derived from this donation of Rupees One Million (Rs.1,000,000/-).
Ms. Y. Balasuriya while accepting this donation with gratitude stated that this precedent should be followed by the by other Donors who wishes to help the bright students chosen by the Society and also to achieve the target of collecting Rupees Ten Million (Rs.10,000,000/-) as Shishyadhara Scholarship fund.
She also said that this is the biggest ever donation we received since the society was established in the year 1920. She thanked Wing Commander Noel Fernando for coordinating and facilitating the granting of this donation from his Brother and Sister- in- Law Mr. & Mrs. Neil Fernando
